What's Happenin' ?
It's summertime! Youth from 6th through 12th grades get together on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 pm to have fun, to get to know one another, to serve God, and seek Jesus. On Sunday's during the summer there is no Sunday School time because worship is at 8:30 and 10 am. So the youth sit together during worship at 10 am and praise God with their voices, hands and enthusiasm!

H.Y.A.P. Hope’s Youth Affirmation Project
HYAP (pronounced "hype") may be better known to you as confirmation, affirmation of baptism or catechism. Here the youth affirm their faith in Jesus Christ and further their education in the purposes God has for their lives. The overall mission of HYAP is to enable students to have the courage and knowledge to publicly proclaim Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Fall Retreat at Camp Luther Heights: September 19-21
CELL PHONE VS THE BIBLE
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones.
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we traveled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
This is something to make you go...hmmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry about our bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill !
Mexico mission!
In June of this year 13 high school youth and 11 adults went on a ten day mission trip to Mexico to build a home for a needy family. We built a 22 by 22 foot home for the Rodriguez family south of Tecate through Amor Ministries www.amor.org Be part of the 2009 mission (Hope's 9th year in a row) from June 6-15 and experience the joy, the love, the sweat, the fellowship, and the changed life that comes from serving Jesus Christ in this way.

Call Deb at (208) 362-4350 or Hope's Youth Director Chuck Roberts at 941-2294 or youth@hopeeagle.org to find out more.
